tranny issues

i have an automatic tranny and have no 3rd gear i have replaced the solenoids in the tranny and still have no 3rd gear does this mean i have a bad tranny or could something else be causing me not to have 3rd please someone help. i wanna swap to manual but cant afford that right now

The trans has most likely had it. You may run into other problems like reverse going out, overdrive going out, etc.

Whats your location? Here in socal you can find 10 DAs in the bone yard all low mileage autos.
