Tranny Help please

I have a 92 Cable tranny that has no 5th anymore, I ground it gone trying to back in forth to work, bought a new car for winter and want to have the tranny issue delt with befor spring.
1. What are my option with a cable tranny?
2. How hard is a conversion to hydro, and what tranny is best? (Iwould like the RSX 6 speed but dont want to fork out for it).

Does anyone have a spare 5th gear and how hard are they to swap?

What tranny has the best 65-70 mph low rpm's?

well what kind of engine do you have and transmission also
ys-1 is a good transmission for the speed of 65-70
you can't put a k series trans in a b series motor

I have a B18A1 right now only about 200hp, dont have much funds for an up grade yet unless I found a crashed RSX for the full drivetrain swap conversion blah blah blah...

Has to be assuming 200. I hope to hit that with all my mods non turbo

Pressuming- 200hp, better be! Cam swap, Cold air intake, Header, Exhaust, and Higher fuel pressure.

Anyways, anyone know any thing about trannys?

What year is the Ys1 (ls model) and is it cable or hydro?

hmm I don't think you could get 200 from just that
ys1 is from 90-93 ls or 92-93 gsr and there both cable tranny

No way you are even at 200hp to the flywheel, I'd say maybe, and I mean as a stretch, 160 to the flywheel

And that's at sea level with a proper tune
