Have a 90 LS

Racing in the 24 hour LeMons series. Car has performed great allowing us to finish in 40/120 cars running completely stock for the last several races.

We now have some allotted funds to make improvements. Question car currently has stock Cut springs and we are looking to make suspension improvements. I can get a set of H&R springs for $80 if I do this what is a reasonable shock to get? Is this a good set up Vs something else. We cannot spend $1k for coilovers without being penalized laps. . If theire is a cheaper coilover alternative we are interested. If someone has a used set up we are interested..

Second question is performance upgrades fom stock engine. Again we can not invest heavily and major changes will costs us penalty laps.

New to the forum and purchased the car because is has been bullet proof on the track for endurance racing.

for suspension id get the springs and sway bars

idk the regulations you have for your motor stuff, but simple boltons would be a start

Dropzone are 89 bucks and have never had a problem with them... I would try and bumb compression.. b16 pistons, mill the head down maybe an afc (hate to say it, but budget wise it would work for you)
