so i have a 92 grs and its dropped on some tein s lowering springs so like a 2 inch dropish? i have a set of 17x7" wheels to put on it but am concerned about rub. the wheels had 215/45's on it and they didnt rub to bad except whe i tried to turn fairly sharp. they would hit on the inside on the wheel well. so i was looking up some 205/40's for a little stretch and lower profile but i'm a littl leary that even the 205 would rub. so i found some 195/40's. so would it be worth the little bit of a gain to go with the 195's vers the 205's? or would 205's and some 5 or 10mm spacers work? or tell me something that i havent thought of yet hahaha. anything would be a help!

try rolling the fenders first.. it should stop the rubbing..

also, its known that its just rubbing on the fender liner up in the front as well, which is not really a big deal..

Smaller wheels, less of a drop, a hammer.

You will probably rub on the fender unless its rolled.

I think hes probably rubbing on the actual chassis portion of the wheel well, where there is undercoating sprayed.

195/40/17 will look like a rubberband

205/40 or 205/45 shouldn't rub if you sayyou only rub very occasionally

it doesnt rub the fenders. the drop gave my car a natural camber haha so i'm good there. just when i turn it hits the inside wheel well. no fender rubbage otherwise. i'll prolly just go with the 205's tho. if nothin else heat guns and hammers r awesome for a reason!!

as said before. im pretty sure its rubbing on the fender liner. jack up the car and investigate where it rubs.
i suggest you getting 205/40 if you plan on changing the tires.
