Ok so i have to change my timing belt in a few thousand miles i and i was wondering if it would be a good idea to vtec my engine when i do the swap? and is it hard to change the timing belt? I would like to save money and not have to take it to a shop but if its difficult i will. And how much would everything cost for a vtec upgrade?

Future plans:
Greddy turbo kit
Skunk2 cams
Aem Cam gears

anything else to make my car faster :D

....you mean like do ls/vtec swap? or what? upgrade to vtec? that makes no sense

and if you've never done a timing belt before i wouldnt try on your car, i would watch/help someone else do it, you have to have it in prefect timing or you can say by to your motor

Im planning on doing an ls/vtec coming up this summer when it gets warmer, and this is what I believe is needed.

Vtec head: b18c, b16a?, etc
GSR/Type R water pump
GSR/Type R Timing belt
GSR/Type R Distributor
Knock sensor
vtec ECU (P61,72,30, etc)
LS/vtec conversion kit (Which I think will come with all head bolts, headgasket, and oil lines)

You should do a Supercharger to go with the Turbo, LS/VTEC and Skunk2 cams. That would be so fast!
