okay so as in my other threads ive replaced the head gasket but going to put the timing belt back on and i cant figure out how the tensioner works....(just slid it off)
anyone know how to do it. motor is still in car by the way if its posible if not i guess im fucked..
The tensioner, it spring loaded, so pull it all the way down to release the tension and tighten down the bolt to hold it in place, then after you get the belt on release it and let it take the slack out of the belt.
yeah i figured while i waited for someone to post ill just losen it to see what happens i got it on and everything now just trying to get the damn thing started. i think something with the icm and dizzy is the problem.
I am going to do Muckman a favor here. Go to http://www.hondahookup.com/manuals/ and find the proper manual for your car. Then look up timing belt. It will give you the step by step on how to do it the proper way and trust me you want to do it the proper way because if the belt is too loose you can really fuck up your motor.
i done it the right way i found a vid on youtube after a hours search but now im thinking its fuel related like fuel injectors not spraying/clogged. but does anyone have a pic of the fuse box thats under the hood he has wires going places i have no idea whats for but any help with that would be nice.
