Time to assemble the motor

Ok, so its finally time to put everything back together . I will be running a turbo b18c1 with forged internals i have just about everything i need to put together but the oil pump. I see a lot of guys running the type r oil pumps in there rebuilds should i buy my stock gsr one or go with the type r ??

if your planning on revving insanely high, go with the type-r pump

Run a Type-R. I don't know why, but at least it has a cooler name. Lol.

it delivers more oil pressure witch would be a good thing rite??

spoke with the guys at acura today and they said my gsr pump and the type are pump are the same so i just bought my pump

they are the same all OBD2 oil pumps are p72 with the cut out for the crank position sensor

yes. type r and gsr oil pumps are the same.
