Ticking noise?

So today i just started hearing this ticking noise coming from under my hood. I have a stock b18a1 GS, i open it up and see where the ticking sound was coming from, and it sounded like it was coming from the distributor/engine.

Most likely a valve adjustment. Its the most common ticking from the head. Can you give a more specific location of the "tick"?

also could be an exhaust leak coming from worn header gasket
