Axle issues with show themselves as you accelerate and specially while turning. It will be either a ticking or vibration.
Wheel bearings sound like a growling noise especially while cruising and turning aka loading one side of vehicle putting more weight and force on that sides wheel bearing.
If while braking at high speeds, freeway speeds usually on off-ramps, you feel a vibration, most commonly from the front, you have warped rotors. If you feel it in the steering wheel = front rotors. If you feel it in the brake pedal = rear rotors.
The integra dust shields are extremely stupid designs that get in the way. It could be bent and vibrating against the caliper creating the ticking you are hearing. If you are only hearing the ticking while braking them its not your valve adjustment which is good.
If you only ever heard it that one time maybe you just had a rock in your tread and it was making the ticking. This is common.
Hope this helps!
