What up? To get the point I've been kinda lookin into gettin a new after market t\b . I was leanin towards gettin a skunk2 one , but what you all runnin? What do you all recommend on a boosted b18c1 motor. Also I'll be tuning with a hondata S200 setup. So what you runnin and what do think about it?

Enlighten me...

TB's larger than 66mm are good for boosted engines. Your stock TB is 60mm. I still have my stock TB, but I'm not boosted. If I were to get on it would be in the 63-64mm area. How much boost are you running?

I wanna run at least 12 lbs but that's kinda a ball park estimate. Still haven't got the turbo yet. I was thinkin 68 mm , what you think.

That's a good size for that much boost.

it really depends on ur power goal.but 68mm is fine.are u build motor cuz 12lbs up there for stonk internals.

For the amount of power he's looking at, believe it or not, stock is fine. You're not scavaging for HP like in an NA motor, and though I've considered running a larger one, there wasn't much of an advantage until I got over the 500whp mark. After about 500whp, 66mm or 68mm with a larger turbo will do fine. By that time, you've basically chosen that that car will be for drag racing only anyway.

I'm only at about 440whp at 18psi, and still run stock TB. Nothing wrong with it. Put the money towards another part of your setup to ensure reliability.
