Thinking of buying this Integra...but!

I am currently looking at a 1990 Integra RS (A nice upgrade from my crappy 85 civic), but the problem is that the car is currently not driveable since it has been off the road for 5 years.

I was told that the battery needs changing (obviously), then gas tank drained, and a tune-up done.

I am just wondering if there are other things to look for. The Integra currently has 200,000kms.

He also told me there are no rust, which I am don't think it's entirely true. Any places you guys think I should look at?

Just a 1990 Integra RS, 2dr hatch

HKS catback
Magnaflow Muffler
lowered
RED

pop the hood for starters and get underneath..look at everything..snap a few pics in detail and post em on here...maybe someone can help a little more with pictures...

hmm... compression test, alternator, suspension

probabaly new spark plugs, new plug wires, new battery (if you let it get down that low it won't charge and if it does, it'll most likely kill your alternator)

If you can get the engine to start try sea foaming it, radiator flush, oil change, maybe clutch fluid, transmission oil (yeah, our DA's actually use oil in them, lol 5W30 FTW! lol)

most likely everything! lol, how much does he want for it?

welcome to the club, and congrats on your find, i would first drain the tank and replace your fuel filters, pcv valve, etc, then give it a tune up spark plugs, wire etc, then change the oil, who knows when the last time it was changed, i would just replace the battery, after alll that give it a start and see how she runs
