Thinking about carbon fiber hood

anyone got any good pics of silver teggys with a CF hood?

Just get it then paint it. If you do it that way you can even get the cheaper oxidized/yellow hoods that people dump. Then use the savings to paint it.

i dunno i think cf hoods/truncks will be the new rice....the ricers caught on lol time to think of something new
oh and if u dont have a front lip id get that first...looks better with a cf hood

Thats why you paint them. So its not rice. Thats when your using them for their benifits and not the ricy looks unpainted/unfinished

If you are going to paint the CF then just get fiber glass! I'm rockin a CF hood and Hatch on my silver teg!

Not really. Due to all the CF hoods/trunks out their, that makes alot on the used market. Ive seen CF hoods that have clear coat all messed up for under 100. So if you get a hood thats all screwed-up for cheap you can sand prime and paint. All for cheaper than the fiberglass. And carbons lighter

True, but do you want I cheap one, I got a crappy Nopi CF hood, that has the problem you speak of, But Im not going to paint or it and leave my hatch unpaint, that would look gay! I love the CF look, and yeah I did get them to lighten the load, but I still want to show them off!

BTW Speedin what car do you own now or you still got the DSM?

i just wouldnt spend the $ to buy a cf hood then pay more to paint it, rather spend it on another mod

Oh yea, you cant paint 1 piece and leave the other. All or nothing FTW! I agree their. But save for it man :thumbs up.

Oh, and please we dont speak of it. Last time I spoke of it a Ninja atempted to kill me with Mitsu symbol Ninja Stars. Long story short, I lost an arm :lol:
