The fan doesn't work in all positions..

Hi All,
I have a 1989 acura integra LS. I notice last week that the fan doesn't work for all the five positions anymore. It works only for the highest speed and the one below that.

Can anybody tell me what might be the reason for this.

its probably the ressistor my integra has the same problem, I guess they just wear out alot, this thread here shows you how to fix it http://honda-tech.com/showthread.php?t=2082345

HI Thanks for getting back to me. I checked with all stores around here in ames, IA. they don't seem to have that resistance in stock. Can anybody recommend me a place from which i can buy this reistance

I did look at the link you sent me..It says for the 94-01 models. Mine is a 1989 integra..

oh my bad I didnt notice that it was a 1st gen integra... Hmmm you might want to try the dealer still cause I'm pretty sure its still a ressistor on a 1st gen

It's called a "resistor" not "resistance". Either a Honda dealer or a competent auto parts store can get you one.
