Since your talking head swaps, normal people choose the B16, but I'd use the B18. Or why don't you just get a Type R head?

im located in new york, i would like to do the complete B18C5 swap but with the price difference from a head swap, it would be cheaper to find a Vtech head. I could go with the GSR head and put type R drive train, well................ i have no idea.........HELP!!!

Keep your LS block and put the Type R head on it. You can still use the Type R tranny with your LS bottom end. Don't forget you'll have to get the VTEC oil line kit to set up your VTEC and you'll need a different ECU.
