Does anyone know how to take off the belts so i can just simply take off the belt on my alternator and drive it to a shop? of course the alternator belt has to be the very bottom one, Is there DIY on this?

Thanks,

Why would you wanna take the belt for the alternator off and then drive?! You'll kill your battery in a heartbeat...

Anywho, to take it off, you have to take off the a/c, power steering, and that little engine mount type thing (not the actual one but the smaller one underneath)

If someone could varify, thatd be great. I kinda forgot how. Its been a while.

After those belts are off, loosten the bolt that holds the alternator and you should be able to take the belt off.

yeah as you know i have been having this problem forever, although the belt is new i am cutting it off, only becuase i have a new one (belt that is) but i meant to drive it to a shop and get that bolt taken out there thank you guys, its slow and shitty to be working on a car with noo money the alternator cost more then the car itself in the firstplace
