ok so my question is is it ok to rotate the housing or should i put it back, the only thing that was confusing me is how will i run the intercooler piping if its at an angle like when i got it???
how are you rotating it? . . .the manifold and turbo bolt on however the manifold dictates. by rotating it are you making your own manifold? because that would be the only way to do it. the wastegate also just bolts on to the turbo as well . . . .so maybe go into a little more detail. . . .of post better pics of what you need help with
Usually the internal wastegate will not allow rotation of the compressor housing on an internally wastegated turbo. If your particular turbo does NOT have any probblems with wastegate interference, then you shouldn't have any problems in rotating the compressor housing.
take off the wastgate actuator. the wastegate has a internal wastegate. go external so you can mount it on top on the manifold. that will give you some more clearence
ok i didnt really read any thing but your question.... its called clocking the turbo and it should be just fine some times you have to rotate them to clear the block and other stuff on hondas.... but you should up grade to an external wastegate if possible
