Sylvania Silverstar bulbs, opinions?

I'm thinking about getting a set of these for my Civic. You guys who have them like how they look? And can you tell me the difference between the different models? There's the CB, the XB, the ST and the SU lines. Name which one you have and how you like it, pics would be helpful.

i was gonna get them until my friend said there were blue bulbs for like half the price. lol i think they are the best bulb if you dont want HID

did you get the cool blues? i had them in my eddie bauer, they where better then the stock bulbs thats for sure.

iono i got blue jdm style made in korea bulbs. but i vote silver star for sure especially if you dont have projector lenses

well to answer your question cause im lazy projectors are better for hid because light doesnt scatter and blind people. if you have projectors might as well get HIDS and if not silverstar is cool

I've never tried them, but I've heard that they're good bulbs. The output is good and the color is slightly whiter than stock. I personally use PIAA bulbs. I'm rocking the PIAA Super Plasma GT-X on the GE8 right now.

Those bulbs suck. At least my experience with them did, they only made it about 3 months for me. I switched to PIAA Xtreme White, they have been running strong. I do a lot of night driving.

I agree the Ultra's suck too. They burnout FAST!!! But PIAA's are over priced.... Save some $ and get some luminics bulbs, put it this way I modded one (so it will plug into just about any size light for testing purposes) and ive had it over 4 years, with 1.5 years of constant use. That plus the countless other sets ive used/installed. Get luminics

i say, spend the extra 20ish bucks and splooge for some hid's..

but if you dont want, they're not that bad.. id rather just go back to oldschool and get some 'hyper whites'
