switching from log to equal length

okay so i bought a equal length exhaust manifold today for 400 bucks and im wondering if i have to change anything to run the car safely or can i just bolt on the new manifold and jsut be done with it i heard you gain lots of power and it looks better than a log manifold which is why i bought it.

Bolt and go. Shouldnt change your setup enough to demand a re-tune.

And why would you spend $400 on a part before you even knew whether you could install it or not?

i knew i could install it its just i didnt know if i had to retune the my setup due to the fact i changed something

anytime you change something on a turbo set up,you should retune. the equal length shounld make more poer than the log

well is it top mount or ram or what? does the manifold place the turbo in the same position the log did? might have to mod down pipe

everything is all the same only diffrence is the manifold but it doesnt matter
i went over to intec racing and asked them they said i dont need a retune

Exactly. You will probably also need a new downpipe and dumptube. if you want best power get a retune. you will be flowing air more efficently with the new mani and you could go lean under boost. make sure you have a good A/F guage
but hey not my car i dont care if you melt pistons lol

dont regret when something happens. why wouldnt you want to retune and make more power:2confused

ill just head get a retune , and watever anyways if it makes more power im fine with it
btw i found out their was something called turbo cut wats that?
