Just bought a 2001 teggy with kyb struts and not sure what springs yet......

I need to know if I can raise up the car with just installing larger springs or if that won't work with the strut setup. They are the silver struts from KYB. I doubt this would matter but the springs are blue and also it has skunk2 upper control arms. Its a great drop and i love it but not something i can work with when it comes winter.

Sorry guys I sound like a nub but this is my daily driver. Got a sti that i'm working on at home.

It looks like you have two choices:

1) You can get coilover sleeves, that way you can adjust the height of your car whenever you want. For example, Ground-Control.

2) You can opt for full coilovers, which include new shocks and springs as one component. If you are on a budget, I suggest you just go with the coilover sleeves.

Side note: Your KYB GR-2 shocks are meant to be stock replacements. They won't for a long time since your car is lowered. If you do decide to go with the coilover sleeves, I recommend you get different shocks. For example:
1) KYB AGX
2) Tokico Illumina
3) Koni Sport (Yellow)

ive never herd of the brand to be honest. But ive driven a few cars that have been lowered. (not mine but still integras) ive driven a DA with Skunk2 shocks and springs and it was super sexy slamed, but thats besides the poiint, the ride quality was rough going over stuff cause the springs were so stiff. But, i did drive a DC2 gs-r on ground controls with koni yellows and it was increadibly smooth. i really liked the ride quality. i recomend GC. TEIN also makes good stuff although i was riding in a 240.

i know their prob cheap but i can't afford to be putting too much money into this car.....just yet
I've never heard of that brand before. I wouldn't get them. I wouldn't want you to purchase them and end up blowing them out in a few weeks. For the budget tuner, I would recommend getting Ground-Control coilover sleeves first. If you have enough money, you can also get new shocks like Koni Sport shocks. But for right now, you can get the GCs and roll with the GR-2s for right now. Just keep in mind that they won't last long. During that period, you can save up your money to get new shocks.

I'm going to soon, I don't have actual pictures of them because my digital camera is broken:( I have an ad on Craigslist, would you be mad if I just did the lazy half-assed thing again and made a thread with the Craigslist link?

I honestly don't care how you do it. I'm just trying to help you sell it.

ONLY couches pull out!!!!
imo...for that price you can get a new set of ground controls with adj. konis and have a better setup.
