sunroof questions

# 1 when opening the sunroof is the motor supposed to keep running while holding the switch once it is open or is something wrong with it?

#2 the factory sunroof slides open and closes... is it supposed to tilt up an inch or so like normal sunroofs or just slide open and closed, im wondering about my switch

how do you know its still running? and why are you holding the botton down when its all the way open?
they dont prop open in the back like other sunroofs they just slide back and closed on mine not sure about 2nd gens tho.

I know its still running when im drivin down the street and I hold the switch down to open it and once it is open and i look up to make sure its all the way open while holding the switch i can still hear it goin wrrr wrrr wrrr, that is how i know it is still running, obviously, none of the other sunroofs ive ever had have done that, not ford, not toyota, not caddilac, they all stop making noise when they were open the whole way and the switch was still depressed, just must be acura

your still supplying power to the power roof motor ... it's most likely gonna make noise...

Yeah, unless you feel like frying your motor................Lol. damn...
Think about it, when you press the button, its either supplying power, or ground....so it will be running until you let off the switch. Seems pretty clear.. lol.

And for your second question...
Look at the top of your car, notice how the sunroof goes INTO the roof, rather than over??? I would think it doesnt go up...LOL.
