Im sorry if this should be posted in exterior, i just wasnt sure. Anyway, when i try to open my sunroof it shifts back and stops like it is catching on the roof. I tried pushing up while pushing the button but this didnt help. It only sticks about the passenger seat. Before i start stripping the headliner out i was wondering if there was anything it could be binding on that be fixed with the interior intact. I drive 45 miles a day ech way to work so gutting the car isnt what i wanna do. Thanks in advance for any help.

Im having the same problem with mine. I took the headliner out and tryed to crank it open with the crank tool on the motor by hand and its still sticking on the left side on the back.

Got mine open. I sprayed some wd-40 around the back passenger side around the plug and let it set all day in the sun. When i got home i used the hand crank tool and turned it till it got tight and reached in and pushed up with my hand and it made a loud pop but it opend . I used the switch and worked it in and out but notice it does need some grease on the tracks.
Hope this may help you out and i think the guy that had it before me never used it that much is the reason it wouldnt work.

Had to do the same to mine...clean out all the old crusty grease and use white lithium grease on all the rails...you can grease these all from the out side with it popped up and reach up from the inside.
