Stuck on the side of the road

Just getting off the freeway, I feel my car just trembling like crazy, so I decide to pull over and all of a sudden the car just turns off. All the lights and everything works fine, I just changed the alternator so it can't be that. The car turns on, but it trembles and a couple seconds later the car shuts off and it keeps doing it. Any idea what it could be????

No , it just trembles and just shuts off. I put oil, it has full tank of gas, any ideas??
The oil was low before I added some tho, I couldn't tell if it was dry when I checked

Vacuum leak? Main relay gone bad? Did you install the alternator yourself? My sister's Nissan had the same symptoms. It would sputter and shut off. Found out someone install the belt wrong on the alternator.

Sounds like either the altornator belt is loose or something along the lines. Also I would check the main relay cause the G1 is notorious for having a faulty line for the fuel pump through the main relay. I would just replace it if your over 200k miles

Well my father was the one that did the work on the alternator and the belt, but this was almost 5-6 months ago, I don't think it could be that. How do I go on about checking the fuel pump?
