So i just recently replaced the head gasket on my 92 integra i had replaced it before with out this issue. but the gasket was leaking and it wasn't oem so i replaced it with an oem head gasket but when i had put every thing back together i was having this issue so i redid the timing with every thing set to top dead center put it back all together and i have the same issue i have the same loss of power on the freeway it just doesn't want to go over 6000rpm can yall tell me how to read that code so i can at least get an idea as to what the issue is? i think mabe its the tdc sensor and code and i kinda have the same symptoms.

This video show the check engine light code and what im having an issue with:shock:

so i ran a compression test and im getting 145 to 150 psi on all cylinders when just cranking the engine over no start.when i start the engine they all level off at 60 psi soo idk why number 1 is not firing

92-93 b18a1
nominal: 199 psi
minimum: 135 psi
max var: 28 psi

so when i read the check engine light code i get 6 short flashes long pause 7 short flashes long pause and then one long flash for a value 10 code then it repeats now if the long pauses in-between the flash means that they are different codes then im getting error codes for 6 Coolent Temperature, 7 Throttle Angle and 10 Intake Air Temperature but if i add the numbers i get 23 Knock Sensor code so im not sher witch one it is

You don't add the numbers, you have 3 codes going off.

Check all the connections on those three wires, any damage to the connectors or wires, crap like that.

Your compression is fine, but what do you mean it drops to 60 when you start it? Are you leaving the tester in the cylinder and firing it up or something?

I got the check engine light to go off it was one of the two main connectors for the wiring harness was not all the way in stupid me. so i reset the ecu to be safe. but i still have the miss fire i think. when i pull the number one spark plug wire ther is no change in the way it runs but when i pull out the wires for 2 and 3 cylinders and then the wire for number one the engine will then die so i know it is firing mostly. it still doesn't was to rev past 6000 rpm. now when i torqued the head down i did it to 75 foot pounds my brother has his b18a1 torqued to 95 foot pounds and its boosted and he doesn't have my issue.and i know i did my timing right every thing was set to top dead center and i did redo it like three times just to make sure. I made a new video of how it revs http://youtu.be/ELq4sT4Eeho

To answer your question about the compression test.
At first i tested all the cylinders with out starting it and i got around 145 on all 4. Then i left the tester in and started on each cylinders and the Gage wouldn't go over 60psi and i did not rev it. but i think that's normal because they all did it and im only getting a misfire on number 1.

so i got one issue fixed but it still runs like crap.

Yeah stop running the car with the tester in the cylinder.

Have you checked any of the ignition components to cylinder 1?

I fixed it. the timing was off i used the wrong mark to set my crank gear the real one was covered in a bit of grease so i could not see it. another stupid me moment. now it runs smooth and very strong :)
