those strut bars are good enough.
i had ebay strut bars on my civic and they worked out well.

my buddy has them in his civic.... I have a GSR front strut bar in my car right now... Tripod strut bar is in the mail tho.

They do the job, then why not? I mean, it's going to stiffen something..... It can't really do you any damage. lol
