Stopping Rust

I am getting some rust and scaling around windows what if anything can I do to alleviate this? :evil:

weld in new metal. gotta stop the cancer from spreading. sanding it off isnt gonna do much at all.

It's only around the windows the black part I guess you can call it the molding it may prompt me to get a CF hatch but the side windows I will def have to deal with. weld is a foreign term brother I am an IT guy.

will do I have to get off my lazy ass this weekend and install short shifter and bushings I will take some pics.

sanding, rust treatment, and steel wire brush to the bare metal...then touch-up...if it's minor.
