stock door ajar beeping

Hello all. I like the stock beeping sound the car makes when the door is ajar but the Guy I bought my car from has installed something different how do i take what he has installed out and keep the stock beeping??

Btw, sometimes the stock beeping comes back, i assume there are loose wires somewhere, but i don't know where to start looking. Can someone plz help.

What's installed? What sound does it make?

It sounds like a high pitch (ding dong) sound coming from a bell. Similiar to a small music box...I found where this (bell) is located. It's in the center console behind the radio...

That ding dong tone comes on when you shut the car off and take your keys out and your headlights or driving lights are on.

I took my switch out all to gether. One screw, and the door jam botton has a connecter in the back.

Well yes. The tone comes on when the door is open and the car is off. Also when the lights are left on. And to be quite honest this tone does NOT come on all the time. And sometimes the bell rings really fast, as if it has some kind of adrenaline rush, then abruptly slows back down. Lol. Thats another reason i either think its crossed wires or the connector is going bad...
