Steering wheel swap

I like the stock steering wheel, it's plain I know but it fits my hands. But for the looks I'm planning on changing the steering wheel and I know I'm going to need a hub to put an aftermarket wheel onto the dash, of course. What I want to know is how do I remove stock wheel and install the hub and aftermarket wheel. Any diagrams, templates, step-by-step how-to? Help a tuner out that is new to this car.

Alright I know this is a noob question but I've never swapped a steering wheel. Quick release, is that the type of hub where you can detach the wheel from the hub? I had a friend that had an accident because his wheel came off at 70mph and went into a tree, I don't want to take my chances with that.

Yep, a quick release let's you detach yhe aftermarket steering wheel with a collar & buttton type set up, i got the nrg peice on my db
