Starting problems..

i have a 91 iintegra and recently would not start..i changed the starter and still nothing ..it has its time that it starts right away but then theres times that il be trying to start it for half hour..i have a security alarm on it..check engine blinks, 1 two second blink then 2 small blinks..pls if u can help it would greatly be appreciated

have u tried the ignition switch or check if ur getting spark

how do i check if im getting spark?

Pull one of the spark plugs, attach it to the wire, touch it to the metal on the car to ground it. Then have someone turn the car over. You should see it sparking.

alright wat i did was clean the battery terminals a bit and now the car starts up fine..but my idle is running a bit low now..could that be cuz the idle was reset cuz i diconnected the battery ?

i doubt it. do it again and see if it changes again. if so it might be something in your ecu. if all it is though is just a little low then i would just adjust the idle screw and put it where it is suppose to be
