Starting issue

So I have a serious issue with my starting system.
I have had the starter rebuild by a quality company with OEM quality parts, the battery is fine, but the car still doesn't start on occasion. It went to a shop the other day where it refused to replicate the problem. The idea of the old alarm having a kill switch and that being the problem was brought up, so I had it removed.
Its going back to the shop tomorrow to be there Monday morning when they open, I'm just wondering if anyone has any ideas what might be the issue.
The only things that are coming to my mind is something like a bad postive battery cable, the wiring from the ignition switch to the starter solenoid, or bad grounds. The car acts like the starter solenoid is just not there, but it'll push start just fine.

I'm really at a loss and I really need this thing to run as it is my daily and I have to get to work. It happens so randomly, then the car starts fine for days, it's hard to pin point a cause.

Please help.

make sure your grounds are tight on the trans. i had that happen one time, and one of my grounds on the trans had barely come loose

I think it has something to do with this POS aftermarket alarm the previous owner installed. I'm taking to to an audio shop in a little bit to have them look it over.

bump.....It happened again tonight.....FFFFFFFFFFFUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUCCCCCCCCCCCCCKKKKKKKKKKKKKK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
