Hey guys,

getting a bad squeak from the driver side wheel area. it sounds like opening a door with squeeky hinges if i roll slow enough. just trying to get an idea of what this could be. I know one of my CV shafts are bad because I am getting a bad clicking on turns if that might be the culprit... :roll:

If it's consistent it could be some warpage of your rotor. Evertime it passes under the pad it would make the noise.

Jack your car up and spin the tire. You will be able to locate your problem more precisely
from there

See but the brake pads usually make a higher pitched squeek. This is more of the sound you hear from a squeeky floor board or something...
