did spoon ever actually make carbon fiber mirrors for the dc2 ? all i can find is ek mirrors and spoon style mirrors

Yes they did. Spoon makes CF mirrors for the EG, EK, and DC/DB Chassis.

Vision makes the same mirror in CF that is probably a little easier to find.
