Anyone have the SPoon engine in there teg? how much would one cost?
if it too much then prolly now it not even worth it because of the new k series n all...

The Spoon motor retails for a little over 6 grand. There are places where you can get them new for half that price. Just gotta look around. It's still cheaper than a K swap b/c of all the neccessary parts to complete the swap. If you got the $$$, def go for the K, though. 220hp's stock from a JDM DC5. That's the same as the Spoon B18C puts out with stock Type R cams.

^^^^not to mention the extra torque from the 2.0L K20....isn't it somewhere around 20ft/lbs or so?

there other companys that make better engines with around 265hp all motor that are about the same proce

But you know how it is in tuning sometimes.....some people want what they want for the performance AND for the name

( i happen to be one of them) Its a costly way to tune but im happy in the end
