Speedometer Delay

My Speedometer Kinda Has A Delay When I Drive. When I Come To A Stop And Start To Drive It Wont Respond To The Speed That I Am Actualy Going. It Gets To 20mph And Will Delay For A Couple Seconds And Then Jump To The Corect Speed Im Going. Anyone Know How I Can Fix This. I Know Its Probably A Sensor Right.

Do you have aftermarket guages? Maybe when you put the needles back you pushed them on too far and their rubbing against the guage a little bit in back.
