Spark Plugs ?

Are The Bottom Part Of Spark Plugs Suppose to Be Covered In oil ?
Cause i checked out number 3 on my Ls And it had oil Only on The Bottom Part.
Im going to change them, Im also thinking that thats what was causing my Engine to Misfire Or idle Wrong.

and when you replace the o rings you should put rvt seal, cause i replaced mine and was still doing the same thing, so make sure you use the seal

Yes, I have Barely Changed The Valve cover gasket.
And are the O rings The Black Rubber 'O' that goes inbetween the valve cover and the Head ?
But i didnt use a sealant, would any Seal work ?
