Hey whats up...i was on here like 6 months ago, but i didnt have a job and wasn't really working on my car cause i had no money, but i finally am making money and starting to work on my car. i dont have any pics right now, i will get some as soon as i get my car back. i am getting an act hd clutch put in right now. so far i have a shitty header, i only got it because i plan on going turbo in the next 2 months and knew i would be getting a new header anyway. i have custom exhaust, 2" with a thermal muffler, and i ordering an aem v2 cai in the next few weeks.

hey man sounds good so far, but why would you spend all that money on an aem v2 when you are just going to have to hack it all up for your turbo set up. save the money from that and buy some IC piping and turbo stuff.

well the best thing to do now is not buy an intake at all. if you plan on running turbo you will need to run plumbing from the compressor side of the turbo to your throttle body. so if you are going to run an intercooler you will need to plumb some IC tubing from the turbo to the intercooler and up to the throttle body. so buying an intake now seems to be a waste of money. thats why i said buy the plumbing instead.

WTF! Are we telling people to go cheap now? You wouldn't say this if the guy put a Spoon or Mugen intake or something. The AEM V2 is way over priced IMO as well, but suggesting EBAY or some other non sense....:what:

If you want to go turbo, then decide before you buy things that will be wasted. An intake, header and exhaust for a N/A car is different from a forced inducted car

yeah...i know my exhaust has to be as big or bigger than downpipe, and i have to get a turbo manifold, but i didnt know i didnt use a regular intake with turbo. if that is my plan, then i shouldnt even buy an intake, just wait for turbo? i have an ls, is there anything else i should get before i do turbo? i just got my water pump and timing belt replaced as well.
