Someone want to give me a hands on how to do my timing?? Ill pay

Hey CI well we got my transmission done but now we find that my timing is off would someone want to come help out i live in the pasadena/south houston area. Thank you

go to auto zone or w.e and get a timing light

it should connect to one spark cable

also have a peperclip on the cel code thing

point the light on the belt..


and adjust the bolt as it sees fit



(i know not very descriptive. but it s a start

On the intake side its its off like sayy 45 degrees, this is the best example i could give, exhaust side: ^... intake side: >. just like how those arrows are

My car wont even start is how off it is but i am getting air spark and fuel AND we adjusted it to TDC

start by lossening the bolt..and putting it..hmm semi close to the fron of the carbut not all the way.

try starting


Edit: what car? cuz it might be diff for you im a 94

AAAND the correct timing should be displayed on your hood

ok ok here we go


since your car wont start

lets start with lossen this bolt..just enough to move the bracket thing







Try putting it here





try to start teh car...should start.


after its going. taking your timing light..and stick it


to see the belts

oh i forgot . make sure its clampped on the cable and your obd thing is papercliped


anywho..adjust teh triming accordingly


you just slide the bracket until you get it right. and when its right u tighten the bolt.


sorry i didnt use REAL names for things. dont know them honestly

Haha thanks man but one of my cams are off so we did line it back up and unfortunately we did try moving the distributor it still did not start...sorrry for lack of information and my car is b20 swapped

Panch that won't work for his problem. Your going to need to take the belt off and move the cam over.
