some type of leak on my car

I have a really bad leak on the left front side of my DA near my tire. I'm not sure what it is, but my inner CV boot is ripped. Could that be the reason behind the leak maybe or does anyone have a different idea. Brake lines are fine so its not that/

yea sounds like its your cv boot

well, i checked under my car and its not the CV boot. It looks like my rack and pinion is leaking and the boot is ripped. anyone know how to fix it or replace the rack and pinion.
