i dont think it would hurt mine has been like that through the past 6 months i have had my car and i have had no problems. that is including bad weather road hazzards and a blow out. there is still the possibility that shit could get up in there but i would say as long as you dont run over anything big it will be fine.:lol:

some one could also do that even if you have the plastic shield on. you can very easily rip it right off the car if you had intensions of fuckin with the car.
