so i got a new fuel gauge sending unit

a guy i goto school with, that is kinda familiar with da9's said there is a gas line attached to the sending unit. is that true or just what hes saying?

im pretty sure its just a plug connector but lets see what other people say...

the only problem i ran into is removal the float and this other thing in a L shape go alittle hung up on me i took it out of my parts car
