Smoke coming from engine.

The other day my cars battery died and opened up my hood and there was a ton of smoke coming from it. It smelled kind of like oil. The smoke comes out from around the valve cover and kind of were the stock headers are. Could if be an oil leak?

I'd agree with this. I'd fix it ASAP.

i got some lucas engine stop oil leak or w.e. But im also gonna replace the gasket, but just out of curiosity has anyone tried this additive?

Replace the gasket first, don't use additives unless you have to.
