the only thing those chips do is remap your fuel curve/air fuel ratio. if i had the money to do it over again, i would get an unmolested obd1 p72 ecu and get a vafc for dyno tuning.
yea they work, but it seems to me like a quick fix.
Hondata is way better than a preprogramed chip. Hondata you can change the fuel curves and ignition maps to suit your engine. In my mind a better investment than a skunk2 or any other preprogramed chip.
I have heard the same about hondata. My friend has it in his '03 RSX with i/h/e and he can spank a type-s with just i/h/e (some of that is driver though). I am planning on getting hondata my self but i am getting it with the launch control and full throttle shift option. Check it out on hondata.com (s100 or s200)
