SIR-G = Chrome housing headlights
TYPE-R = Black housing headlights and with or without HIDs

SIR-G is a little cheaper.

My friends just painted their sirg housings and ypu cant tell a difference, good luck on either way u go.

hehe its ok, i kinda fucked mine up recently too
stupid fog light cover broke from the heat and was rolling around in the housing, soo i opend it up and accidentally touched the reflective part of the reflector and some came off :cry:

Yep, I had to replace mine in a housing because it was broken for a while. Scuffed up the chrome paint pretty good. That stuff is really delicate.
