SiR-G Conversion + Aftermarket HID's.

Ok, so i nailed a deer @ ab 60 mph down the road from my house a while back and have decided to do the SiR-G conversion soon. I know that with the OEM HIDs from the jdm black housing headlights you run into a support problem with the SiR-G conversion. My question is, would you run into the same problem with aftermarket HIDs? I know on my buddies '07 WRX we installed them and they had a separate box you had you mount, just not 100% sure if its the same. Thanks guys.

External Ballast = the box in the kit correct? (Cuz if it is what i am thinking then it should not place so much strain on the OEM supports because the majority of the weight would be fastened somewhere else nearby in the engine compartment)

yeah the metal box. you tuck that somewhere or some have harnesses you can bolt to radiator support etc.
