Silver DB's Debut [ 56k... OUCH! ]

sup sup ya. seems like i've been lurking around but finally settled here @ C-I. i used be on jdmc a lot but i guess i dont own a civic anymore :( . long story short, some dude in a F150 smashed my front-end nearly head-on and then i came up on a teg :twisted: muahaha. i have to say, i do miss my civic, but then again... the teggie came with everything the civic didn't... and only you civic owners know what i mean. no rear disc brakes, no abs, crappy seats, crappy suspension, and who can forget that sohc.

So here it is... from Silver EJ8 to Silver DB8

Specs:
what chu see is what i got.... rofl.
other than that its STOCK! :shock:

ever since i drove the teg, i dont ever wanna go back to a civic... lol. not that i dont like them, i still love civics but the integra comes with everything and it feels so snug. all i need to really do is upgrades, not big conversions and swaps like civics gotta do, but hey... i guess its part of the challenge for some people. me on the other hand, rather jus get a gsr... and to save money + insurance i got a 4dr :lol: so far the teg is comming along like i wanted, i need to do more work on the suspension and then its time to rebuild the motor.

About time you showed pics of your car, I too used to hang around jdmc, but too much drama from teenagers, one question do you still have the sir lip from the civic, how bout them foggies, now the tegg MAKES MINES LOOK BAD, NICEEEE, very clean, one more what coilovers you had on the ej, last thing mines needs a goddamn drop

Just noticed, you had 2 strut braces in the civic???? I got the si one had to drill the holes like you hahaha

Your DB8 is pretty clean; keep up the good work.
I was wondering how much getting your anntena and emblems shaved cost you; and where did you get the tail lights from?

i'm suprised you guys noticed... people on jdmc still dont know, haha. but yea civics dont come with the oem upper strut bars except for the 99-00 civic si and the 94+ integra gsr. i came across a friend who had one lying around so i figured i'd drill a couple holes and put it on. later on i bought a skunk2 upper strut bar, however it wouldn't fit unless i had to remove the oem strut bar. so i got kinda creative and flipped the oem strut bar around and i was able to have both of them on. i fugred it wouldn't hurt to have 2 strut bars, 1 thats attaches to the tower/body [ the oem one ], and the other attaches to the struts/shocks [ the skunk2 one ]. overall i didn't see any problems with having both of them on, for all i know it probably improved the front end. i'm planning to do the same to my integra once i buy another skunk2 upper strut, since the one in the crash didn't make it.

like the concept (of the 2 strutbars (i did notice but didnt really think it was that special to mention :p))

man before when i saw ur pics a few were not showing but now i can C the accident pic and damn its like watching dead ppl or someting it really makes me sick knowing that such a beauty is gone after all the love you gave it :D cant imagine what i would do if i or more importantly somebody else wrecked my ITR.

yea its wings west, good thing too cause they can take the abuse. if you look real close there's like a baseball size paint chip on the front lip, but the lip is still in perfect condition

i loved it when i had the blades, didn't have to worry about any dips or potholes or anything, cause you know oem is the shiznit... lol
