Silicone hoses improve vacuum?

i was watching a car show and their twin-charged car was not as powerful as it should have been and they replaced all the vacuum hoses with silicone ones and their power was significantly better. would this be the same case for my 1990 integra?

Silicone hoses will be better for your motor as opposed to old cracked vacuum lines, but you're not gonna any significant power from vacuum lines.

Yeah i changed mine out with some JDM sillicone hoses... now my tires break loose when i hit vtech and i chirp going into reverse... legit yo'

I think what the purpose of that was saying is if you have old cracked brittle hoses the engine will run smoother, idle better, and possibly cure any "hiccups" you may have while accelerating.. You wont gain any HORSEPOWER
