Signature requirements/limits

Ive been noticing a lot of new users popping up that have RIDICULOUSLY large signatures that take up 10x the amount of space their message does. There are also some members who aren't fresh out of the gates who have 1/2 page signatures also. Are there any rules or regulations that are being overlooked with signature creations, or maybe initiating some rules to limit the amount of space used in signatures?

I would have posted this in the website suggestions, but I had the error like Coy did a while ago, of not being able to create a new thread.

I agree. Some people have signatures that are way too big and highly annoying. I think there should be a limit as well, or we could just go delete their sigs

PS - I moved this into the Website/Suggestions section. Apparently that problem needs to be worked out as well.

You would know if someones signature is too big. If you scroll down to see the next message and pass by a page long signature, thats definitely too long.

to be honest! people should stop using multiple quotes and putting unnecessary info. no one needs to see the same joke a million times.

Maybe JayJay could make a maximum size for sig pics, like there's a maximum size for avatar's. That would help, but yeah I do think there are some sigs that are too large, like the new guy with the huge pic of his white Integra I've seen lately.
Maybe some guys could uncheck the Show your signature box before posting a reply once in a while, so we don't need to click past their huge sigs over and over again.

Im sure he could, alot of other vB sites have the restrictions.

Another option for people bothered by large signatures is to just turn off all signatures in your options. Not the best, but itll work until JayJay implements something.
