Should I keep these Infinity Kappa's or not

sup fellas, just bought an integra off a friend and his an audio nut head....anyways his got infinity kappas in all four courners....i know much about engines but not much about audio...should i replace these with my alpine type S speakers.


the Kappa are components. rated at 270 watts max, 90 watts rms.

any feed back is welcomed

Keep the ones you like the sound of better.
If you like them both, keep the ones in better condition.

I don't know which are a more high end speaker, you need to provide more info on them both.

I have Infinity Reference in my car. They're awesome. I've never heard Alpine speakers in a teg. My vote would be to see which ones are in better condition. TegSox is right, we need more info on the speaker to see which is better.

I have kappa in my teg. I would not change it for anything else.

I love my Type-S mids, but I havent heard the Infinities. I know my Alpines have some insane highs, good mids, mine dont get bass so not sure about that. X-over in head unit cuts them off, other than that I would bet the lows are good too.

alpine and infinity speakers both sound good. not really an upgrade either way. i've heard both and like both. i'd keep which ones are in better shape and newer

yesterday i was playin around with the set up. and in the end i decided to go with the Alpines in the front and Kappa in the back.

alpine type S - 6 inch 50 rms 200 max

infinity(harman) kappa - 6 in 90 rms 280 max

i am running them through a 5 channel amp that came wthe the car....no idea wat the amp kicks out for power since i have no idea what band it is.

but in the end the sound was pretty good. yeah the alpine for sure gave better highs, that why i suck with them for the front. Kapps's gave really good mids. but i was missing lows. so borrowed my bros subbs and put them in. the final product was kick ass.

Get your hands on the GOLD SERIES Kappa subs... I love them. 10"@1030watts peak.
