Should I buy this Integra?

Hey, I've got a question I think you all can help me out with. I used to hav a 1998 silver Integra GS...I traded it in for a 2000 4dr Accord EX, I know, stupid move, but I thought having a child meant upgrading to a bigger car. But I hate this car now and have the opportunity to trade my car straight up for a 1996 Integra GSR but with a B20B CR-V block and GS-R had...is this a foolish swap? Why would someone switch a gsr block for a crv block?

more displacement=more power. but having a child and such, maybe you should be looking for a 4 door integra. and if the tuner bug has bitten you again maybe you should be looking for a stock one and tune it yourself. because a modded one may not be as reliable as you need, and most likely beat on.

You'd probably know better than any of us whether it'd be a foolish swap or not. Safety, convenience, etc. for you and the fam. Weigh out the pros and cons. It's what works for you. :twocents:

Maybe get the Teg as a project car instead?

Is your EX a V6 or I4?

You could always consider supercharging the 6 pot or turbocharging the 4cyl.

I thought I would need a bigger car so I could fit the kids but my kids never go in my car anyways so it's just used as a car for work. I miss my integra, and I'd def make sure the one I'm looking at isn't beat on. But bigger displacement means it would have more power? I think I may consider it. My Accord is a 4cyl auto so it's boring
