shift knobs

so i was wanderin if anyone seen or used one of these...
Blox Racing Billet Shift Knob 5-speed - $42
they seem pretty cool...the product description says "Each Blox Racing Stainless Steel Shift Knob is custom weighted at approximately 440 grams to provide positive shift engagements. " does that mean anythin to anyone? lol

They are Skunk2 copies, just like the Blox Intake manifolds. Not bad that gold is kinda nice lookin still, black Spoon knob is what I will be rockin.

Here's the skunk2. I think it's a similar style, cause it has the.same 440 gram positive engagement BS description and looks similar. Do these get hot or somethin? I like teh gold Blox ..but was wanderin if any issues i shud be aware of...stainless steel does retain heat well afterall...and i do live in a place that gets hotter than florida at times...

yea thats the downfall of these shift knobs... they get FUCKING SUPER HOT... or ICY COLD during the day or night

Damnitt I dont mind Icy Cold but Super Fucking Hot isn't what I want.. .Isn't that only because the sunlight is directly shining on it though? If I had tint and a sunvisor it should help a lot??

yea it only gets hot cuz the sun is shinning... maybe with tint it shouldn't get too hot

they were a limited time kinda thing... last time i remembered it was on jhpusa.com.... or maybe even ebay?

if i remember correctly there are 3 styles total... each one with more etching
