shift indicator

im tryin to hook up a shift light to my stock cluster...im not feeling those big rpm tachs so i thought i would try to hook it up to my stock rpm cluster gauge...does anyone know how to do that? is there a diy out there?

Dont know about installing one INSIDE of the cluster, but people hook them up on the dash all the time. Heres a link to a tut.

if you want a good shift light you can get one really cheap off of ebay and if you want to put on that will hide really well then you can hook up a led to a msd shift light box and it works really well.
